CUP guideline revision

Status: Started in February 2023. Funded by SKMS.

The Dutch CUP guideline revision started in 2023 on initiative by the Nederlandse Vereniging Voor Pathologie (Dutch Pathology Association). The guideline is developed by a multidisciplinary committee comprising of oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, nurses, patient advocates, nuclear medicine experts, palliative experts & psychologists; and with support from the Federatie Medisch Specialisten. The diagnostics modules are already finalised and are currently being reviewed within the commentary phase. The committee is now working on drafting the modules on treatment, support, communication and organization of care modules. It is expected the complete guideline will be finalized and published in 2025.
